Global Grace Cancer Run 2019

The second edition of the ‘CANcerRUN’ was commenced at a cracking pace on 13th October 2019 with the theme ‘LET US OVERRUN CANCER’ in Hyderabad, India. This run was a part of the Government of India’s initiative, the Fit India movement, which was launched by Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, and Shilpa Reddy, Fashion Designer & Model, unveiled the Cancer Run T-Shirt on the occasion and launched the event. The CANcerRUN has turned out to be of the largest cancer awareness runs across the world as over 25,000 runners enthusiastically took part from different countries such as India, the USA, Australia, and Abu Dhabi. The run was categorized into three categories – 2K fun walk or run, 5K run or walk, and 10K timed run.
